4-6 Weeks

I just got back from the doctor, and she estimates that Abigail weighs around 5 1/2 to 6 pds right now. The doctor said she will gain another pound or so. Well, I sure hope she is right! I am in my 34 th week of pregnancy, so that means I can deliver Abigail in another 4-6 weeks!!! That seems so crazy to me. It seems like we have been pregnant forever. I can't believe the time is almost here. Considering I have had friends go early with their first baby makes me want to have my suitcase packed ready to go! She could come anytime now....
In two weeks when I go back to the doctor I will be able to know if there is any progress started. That makes it even more real!

Motivation

I have two weeks left of 2 classes out of the 4 I am taking this summer. The only problem is that I don't have much motivation left in me to finish out these next two weeks. I know I will get everything done, but it has definately been a struggle. All I can think about is preparing for Abigail to get here. I am preparing for labor, getting her room ready, making sure we have everything we need before she gets here. I miss my family and want them here now, but they will not be here until Abigail arrives. So, if your reading this blog I ask for you to pray for my motivation, strength, and perseverance. I do not sleep good at night, so that makes it hard to concentrate during the day too.

Maternity pictures

Justin and I went to Botanic Gardens this morning and took maternity pictures. I will have to say Justin did a good job. Thanks honey!
Enjoy!
Tell me which ones you like the best, I need to figure out which ones to put in the nursery!

Praise be unto God that He has placed a child in my womb!

Abigail's room is coming together

I wanted to make something in Abigail's room, so I bought wood letters that spell out her name.

Here is the finished result. It is so much cheaper to make letters than to go buy them. I used some ribbon that was used at my shower. Trying to be frugal.

Here is more of a close up of her bedding. I love the colors!

Here is the beginning of her collection of clothes, there have been more added since this picture was taken. Yesterday I went to Old Navy but resisted to buy anymore clothes. But, they have some really cute stuff out right now.

Here was the disaster once I got home from Mo. I was organizing all the sizes.
I will post more pictures of her room once it is complete! :) The countdown really is on, we are down to 6 weeks. We are going to be taking a Lamaze class next weekend, it will also give CPR class other parenting tips. If you did not know, I plan to go all natural. So, you can pray for me. :)

Baby Shower in Mo.

My mom did a wonderful job at decorating and being creative. Which is not surprising! :) She had beautiful flowers made, pictures of me as a baby, pictures of my crib and bedding since no one from back home is able to see it in person.

Here I am at 30 wks with my delicious cake! I was sure to have more than one piece. You can do those things when your pregnant!

Kate and her newest addition, Seth! He is so adorable!

Some close friends from highschool. From left to right, Chelsea (Gowen) Weible, Lisa (Neubrand) Jones, myself, and my crazy friend Lindsey Shelton.

My mom surprised me with the chocolate fountain. I spent a lot of time at this table.

All the many presents, I was tired by the time I was finished opening all of them. Abigail definatley has been blessed with lots of clothes!

Mom and me, if you notice in the background those are dresses mom sewed for me when I was a little girl. I am going to take a few and dress Abigail up in them. :)

This is my younger brother's girlfriend, she was a big help at the shower. If your wondering what the fuzzy pink thing is, well, it was a big button. Let's say after I saw it in this picture I took it off. :)

More of the dresses my mom sewed for me. This is where I sat to open all my gifts.

One of the bouquet of flowers for the shower. I wish I could have taken them home with me.
I could have posted a lot more pictures of me opening gifts, but I thought this gave a little taste of how awesome my shower was. Thanks Nana! :)
